Wrinkle Environment I (1969)
Wrinkled offset paper on wall
This installation was originally presented at the Museum of Fine Arts in Caracas, Venezuela in 1969. This full room environment included flat and crumpled offset prints (replicated from an original soft ground etching) that covered the walls and objects within the room, including a chair, a bust on a pedestal, and a framed artwork. Additionally pads of the same paper were mounted on the wall for viewers to tear off. Transparent receptacles were placed within the room for the torn sheets.
